I devised my Chop and Go
technique in 1998 when I was commissioned to make a piece for the
Charles Henry Foyle Textile Award. My quilt Skye Escape I won joint
2nd for Technical Excellence and was followed by four more Skye
Escape quilts, as well as those pictured here. As I explored new
ideas the technique evolved into Log Cabin With Attitude.

Burrator
This quilt was made using my Log Cabin With Attitude technique.
The colours were inspired by the fabrics and by the view of Burrator
Reservoir in Dartmoor. I am constantly inspired by nature and the
landscape around me, which provide rich and ever changing source
of colour. 2002.
