I devised this technique
of manipulated textured patchwork whilst studying for the City and
Guilds Part 2 with Barbara Weeks at North Herfordshire College.
When I showed it to my Part 1 students at Walthamstow Education
Centre, Sue Rowley said that the green ones looked like the squashed
frog in her garden - hence the alternative name.
