City & Guilds Patchwork and Quilting Classes
- Have you reached the crossroads with your quilting skills?
- Are you interested in learning a wide variety of patchwork, quilting and appliqué techniques?
- Do you want to use colour with confidence, be liberated with line, shape and texture and fascinated by form?
- Do you want to design your own unique patchwork and quilting and gain a qualification along the way?
You can do all of this and more by studying for a City & Guilds (London) Design and Craft Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting with Janice Gunner in London and at Missenden Abbey.
After discussion with City & Guilds to address the problem of lack of C & G courses available due to the way courses are funded in the adult education sector, I am now able to offer City & Guilds Patchwork and Quilting courses at a variety of levels on a freelance basis.
I teach level 3 certificate and diploma courses locally at Peterhouse Centre in East London. Courses run over six sessions per academic term a year for two years (with up to a further year extension, at extra cost, if necessary). Contact me for further details for courses commencing in autumn 2016.
Even more exciting, if a venue is available and suitable, I can come to your group or shop to teach these exciting, well-structured courses leading to a qualification. Courses can start in January or September/October and can be structured to run weekly, once a month, over several weekends a year, or as three consecutive one week sessions per year.
Fees and Booking
Fees vary according to level of study, C & G registration fees, course structure and travel distance involved. As with all classes I teach, quality tuition is my main aim, leading participants to a sense of achievement, but with fun and enjoyment along the way.
