A selection of my quilts made during 2006.
Split Personality
A double sided wall hanging, hence the title; not a condition I suffer from I hope! I couldn't resist the dark brown Heidi Stoll-Weber cotton sateen fabric, it called for being used with some African resist dyed fabric, golden yellow on one side and sharp turquoise on the other, plus a few window slits to look through!

Fragile Earth
Made for a Festival of Quilts challenge competition linked to Environment. The colours of the earth overlaid with words and motifs in the quilting to draw subtle attention to the consequences of human actions around the globe.

Feuille d'Automne
I love the colours of autumn leaves. This piece was made as the result of a challenge I set my City & Guilds students in France during their final session with me. They all finished and qualified then we called ourselves Quiltitude and had an exhibition at the European Centre of Patchwork, Narbonne, France.
